So shocked to see this news. You will be missed by many "Aunt" Laura! I wish I was able to see you again but am happy to know that I have one amazing & very warm memory of you - An afghan you made for me many years ago when you worked with my mom ( Michelle Walsh ) at the hospital. You were such a wonderful, loving, caring person. Seeing you a few years ago after having my daughter Peyton just wasn't enough.. May you RIP and know that I will always be thinking of you. I am so sorry to hear of the death of Laura. She was the first Head Nurse I had at the beginning of my career. She was a very kind, hard working nurse. She taught me a lot . Once again I am so sorry, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was fortunate to have worked with Laura at CMC hospital. She was the epitome of a complete and dedicated nurse. She had a very kind and approachable manner which made her an excellent role model for many young nurses. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Laura was a true role model and patient advocate. It was a great privilege to know her. Her compassion for patients and their families was beyond compare.My sympathy goes out to her family. She is gone too soon.
