I have many fond memories of Irene when she ran the Lakeville Post Office. She was friendly with everyone and was also friend to a family member Clara Eisenhauer at the time. Actually, when I think back Irene had many friends. I pray you all may find comfort knowing Irene lived a wonderful life as she served our community. I pray God bless you all and provide comfort and support for you during this time.

Dear Patty, Nancy and families, So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She is now resting in God's arms and surrounded by her loved ones who have gone on before her. She was a great postmistress and I used to love going down to get our mail and catching up on the happenings of Lakeville. Irene worked very hard for our Lakeville Fire Company Auxiliary and our Christmas Bingos were a huge fund raiser. It was a sad day when Lakeville Auxiliary disbanded, but I once again got to work with Irene at the Ledgedale Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
