Vincent J. Booths

Vincent J. Booths, Lake Ariel, died Wednesday afternoon in the Wayne Woodlands Manor after an illness.  His wife was the late former Catherine Gorel Booths.

Born 1939 in Lake Ariel, he was the son of the late John and Clara Booths and was raised on his family farm.  He was educated in Honesdale schools and was of the Catholic faith.  Prior to his retirement he had been employed as a Millwright in the Philadelphia and Allentown areas.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman who also loved to play the lottery.

Surviving are sons Michael, David Booths and his wife Diane, Robert Booths and his wife Susan, Stanley Booths and his wife Susane;  daughters Josephine Allen and her husband Thomas and  Valerie Faatz and her husband Richard;  brothers Joseph Booths and his wife Marianne and James Booths and his wife Gail;  sister Regina Lesak;  numerous grandchildren,  great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his son Vincent Edwin Booths; twin brother John Booths; brother in law Richard Lesak.

A viewing will be held Sunday from 2pm – 3:50PM with a Blessing Service to begin at 4pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.

Interment, private at the convenience of the family.
