Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00am in St. Thomas More Church, 105 Gravity Road. Lake Ariel, Pa.

All attending the mass are asked to go directly to the church.

Friends may call Friday from 4:00pm – 7:00pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Road. Lake Ariel, Pa.

Interment, St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow.

Thomas D. Pollack of the Hideout, Lake Ariel died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital following an illness. His wife of 54 years was the former Carole Schaefer who died in 2016.

Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Adeline Pollack. He entered into the U.S Navy at the young age of 16 on October 30 1956, serving on the U.S.S Destroyer Bigelow, until September 7, 1960.  After being honorably discharged from the Navy he entered the New York City Police Department.  Tommy was instrumental in creating new strategies for the New York Police Departments Auto Crime Unit in which he served for 7 years. Prior to retirement, he was a Senior Special Agent for the National Insurance Crime Bureau.

Surviving are his daughter Kristin Bimbo and her husband Steven of Wurtsboro, NY; sons Eric Pollack of   (Washington, NJ) and Kurt and his wife Gina of Beach Lake, Pa; grandchildren Christopher and Erica Pollack; Siblings Royal Hogg and Bruce Pollack; several nieces and nephews.
