I have a fond recollection of the many years as a student under Mr Jenkins guidance. I recall him fondly as the principal at Damascus school and later into the high school. There are few educators that have earned the kind of respect and admiration that Mr Jenkins has. He has left a legacy to be envied by any educator and I thank his family for willingly sharing him with their community over the years. I pray you all find God's peace surrounding you and bring you healing.

I was so very sorry to hear of Tom's passing and apologize for this entry being late. My memory of Tom will always be of an attentive parent and grandparent, a kind gentleman with a good sense of humor, a fine educator, and a good listener. If more of us followed his example of how to relate to others and how to live, I am certain the world would be a much better place. I am a better person for having known him and I will not forget him. My heart goes out to your entire family.

Heartfelt sympathy to Bev and the family. The beauty of a life well-lived never dies - it continues to embrace and inspire us. And Tom's was a life very well-lived. I remember fondly good times with Ed and Alice. I remember a second grader Tommy waiting by my car when I left my job at Lake Consolidated and saying," I just wanted to ask how Paul is doing in Algebra". Even then, thinking of others and education were important to Tom! He will be missed. Mel Vogler

He helped me so many times. I doubt I would be who I am today if he wasn't there looking out for me. I am sorry I never got to say thank you.

When I was a reporter for The Scranton Times and The Weekly Almanac, I always found Mr. Jenkins to be forthcoming, cooperative and genuinely interested in the well-being of the students and the Wayne Highlands School District. I found our conversations and interviews to be pleasant and personal and he was quite an asset to Wayne County. Whether we discussed test scores or sports scores, he was always happy to spend some time to talk. I'm saddened by his loss and send my sympathies and prayers to his family.

Will miss Tom. He was like a big brother to me and was always there when in need. He made life seem a little calmer even when everything around us was going crazy. He was kind and caring and I will always be proud of his accomplishments.

Dear Beverly and Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Seems like we all graduated only a few years ago.

John and I express our most deepest condolences to Beverly, their children, their grandchildren and the extended family. As classmates and friends we are heartbroken to learn of this great loss of a wonderful accomplished and loving man. We were honored to have seen Tom and Beverly at our last class reunion and it was obvious from his inspiring words that he dearly loved his family. We will keep Beverly and family in our continued prayers that our Lord will give them strength and courage as they process their grief and begin their journey towards peace and loving memories. We hope that knowing so many of us who care will somehow diminish some of their pain. God Bless.
