A Celebration of Teri’s life will be held Tuesday at 6pm in the Light of Christ Church 2067 Moosic Lake Rd. Jefferson Twp. PA 18436

Friends may call Tuesday from 4pm until the time of service.

All CDC guidelines will be followed.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages memorial contributions be made in Teri’s memory to charity of their choice.

Teresa “Teri” Moore Beers, Sterling, passed away New Year’s Eve in the Geisinger Community Medical Center after an illness.   Her husband of 46 years is John T. Beers.

Born 1955 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Dorothy Ritter Moore and was a graduate of North Pocono High School.  Teri has been a member of the Bidwell Hill United Methodist Church prior to its closing.  She had been employed by My Brother’s Place Restaurant, Countryside Floral and Greenhouse and Ritter’s Cider Mill.

Teri was a kind and loving person who had a wonderful sense of humor.  She loved taking trips to Jamaica with family and enjoyed family gatherings.

Also surviving are sons Eric Beers and his companion Jessica Robey of Baltimore, MD and Jason Beers and his fiancé Tommi Gilpin of Sterling;  a brother Raymond Moore and his wife Sharon of Orangeville, PA; sisters Nancy Trygar of Olyphant and Joann Simyan and her husband Paul of Jefferson Twp.; a granddaughter Victoria Beers and a grandson Finn Kruchinski; cousins; nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her brother in law Jerry Trygar.
