Mr. Shaffer was like a second dad to me while growing up in Linwood, NJ. I adored him, and especially loved sitting around the morning breakfast table when he would open his Bible and lead us in a new lesson. He was a foundation stone in my Christian faith, showing by example how we should pray, and how to teach others. How to know and express what I believe and why. I will always treasure Dad & Mom Shaffer. Prayers to the family for strength and comfort, and the peace of God that passeth all understanding.
