I taught with Roger for many years. I remember his happiness of hiking Appalachian Trail and willingness to share his experience with our classes. He was always willing to help with any art project. Roger will be missed by the North Pocono Retired Faculty.

I was very saddened to hear that Roger passed away. He was a kind and happy person who loved his family and who had many talents. I have memories of the many conversations we shared while car pooling to work. These memories are still vivid and well never be forgotten. He was responsible for influencing me and my son, Gary, to tap our maple trees and to start a vegetable garden. Unlike Roger and Carole, I never did get to hike the Appalachian trail. I want to offer my sincerest condolences to Carole, Carrie and Diane. My family is keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers.

What a wonderful man! We remember Roger's love for our Lord as he prayed the blessing the many times we ate together. We loved to hear him pray; Jesus was his FRIEND, as well as his Lord and Savior. He talked to Him with such intimacy! And to think he now rests serenely in our Master's arms is beyond our comprehension. We loved him and will miss him...until we meet again in our "real" home, Heaven.
