Richard L. Seiter died January 4, 2021.  He was predeceased by his loving wife of almost 60 years, “Peg,”  and is survived by his six children who loved and admired him immensely….Kathy, Richard, Billy, Margaret, Edward, Maureen, their spouses and their children, and two great grandchildren, as well as a brother, cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a generous man, giving of his time in the early years in his parish as Treasurer of the Holy Name Society and Vice President of the Home School Association to name a few, right up to volunteering with the Dingman Township Volunteer Fire Department in Milford after retiring from many years at Citibank.  He worked bazaars and bingos through the years, always happy to help.  He also served in the United States Naval Reserves for three years

He was a man of few words, but he loved deeply. He had a dry sense of humor and was a serial teller of dad jokes.  He played “gotcha last“ with his grandkids and enjoyed searching the sky for the space station.  His favorite game was “eleven months till Christmas!” (and counting) and he got such a kick out of beating the grandkids to the punch with that.

We are  profoundly saddened to lose dad but find comfort in knowing that mom and dad are together again at last.
