Rev. Arthur R. Yetter,Jr., Jefferson Twp., passed away Tuesday night at home surrounded by his family.     Art was the proud son of Jane Yetter, 98 and the late Arthur R. Yetter, Sr.

Born 1944 in  Enhaut, Pa.  Art served as a pastor up until the time his illness prevented him from continuing. Along with caring for the spiritual needs of his congregation, Art fostered a food pantry which grew to be one of the largest in Lackawanna and Wayne County serving hundreds of people in need.

Survived by his wife of 41 years is Keely Yetter (Jones); sons Arthur R. Yetter, III and his companion Christine, Michael Yetter and his wife Lindsay and Joshua Auer (Yetter) and his wife Kat; two daughters Cynthia Strabula and her husband Tom and Elizabeth Yetter; brother Barry L. Yetter; fourteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his brother Donald Yetter and Barry’s wife Lorraine.

As per Art’s wishes there will be no services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
