Marian L. Peet, Maplewood, died Wednesday morning at home after an illness.  She was the widow of Donald S. Peet.

Born 1918 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Marjorie Yonker Hallock.   She was a graduate of the Lake Vocational High School.   Marian was a faithful and devoted member of the Grace United Methodist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher.

Surviving are her daughter in law Jane Peet of Maplewood; grandchildren Kevin Peet and his wife Peggie of Lake Ariel and Julie Gallo and he husband Chris of Honesdale; great grandchildren Brianna Peet, Tyler Peet, Jordan and Cassandra Gallo.

She was preceded in death by her son D. Carl Peet and her daughter Eileen Peet.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:30am in the Grace United Methodist Church, Maplewood with Rev. Wilbur Black officiating.

Friends may call Saturday morning from 10:30am until time of service in the church.

Interment, Maplewood Evangelical Cemetery.
