Louise Brevet, the Hideout, Lake Ariel, passed away Tuesday morning at her home with her family by her side. She is now with her loving husband of over 30 years Donald Brevet.

Born in New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Bahr.   She attended Douglas College at Rutgers University where she studied education. Louise was a dedicated and devoted member of the St. John’s Episcopal Church in Hamlin.  Prior to her retirement she was a teacher in many different settings from a traditional high school home economics class to a kindergarten teacher to working with students on a one to one basis and in a boys group home. She raised her children in Syracuse, New York and had many fond memories.

She had a fantastic green thumb (among many other talents) and was proud to be in the garden club enjoying making this earth more beautiful. She participated in lots and lots of activities in the Hideout making it her favorite retirement home and longest residence.

Family and friends will cherish and honor her memory fiercely.

Surviving are her daughter Christine Carley and (Charlie Carley) of Kendall Park, New Jersey; son Kurt Brevet and (Laura Marano) of Westwood, New Jersey; beloved grandchildren McKenzie, Gabe, Katherine and Patrick.

She was also preceded in death by her brother Charles Bahr.
