I can't believe I'm writing this. I know its been a few weeks. Had to get my head around that you are gone. Still can't believe it, so glad I talked to you a week before. I'm so sorry for your family, My heart goes out to each and everyone of you. My thoughts and prayers to all. Will miss you Laurie, you were one of my best friends. Will miss our talks, your laugh and your smile. Will think about you a lot my dear friend, watch over your family and friends. until I see you again, rest easy my friend. I’m really at such a loss of words! This is just so unexpected. I’ve known you for over 40 years. Our kids were little kids! Me you and Maureen……. The memories are countless! Pine Street, Long Beach, etc. The 3 of us being dispatchers to 3 different village/city police depts! All the fun we had although going through so much hardship! We made the best of everything! That’s how we rolled! I’m going to miss your phone calls when you heard a special song on the radio and called me. Our road-trip to Colorado that took weeks with all the stops we made! It goes on and on and on! I’m so happy I was invited to your 60th birthday celebration and I actually went!! It was a fun night! I’m really going to miss you Laurie….with all my heart and soul! My heart felt condolences to the family and friends. Laurie was an amazing friend, wife, mother and grandmother and will be truly missed by my family. I'm glad to have had her in my life as long as I did and am truly sorry for everyone's loss of the most wonderful lady.
