Kenneth Torbeck, Waymart, passed away Sunday in the Geisinger Community Medical Center after an illness.

Born in Norfolk, Virginia, he was the son of the late Clayton V and Barbara Burke Torbeck.  Ken spent a time in the United States Marine Corp until a physical issue prevented him from continuing his service to our country.

Surviving are a sister Carol Kochis, Scranton; brothers Mark Torbeck and wife Marianne, Coconut Creek, Fla.; Bill Torbeck and wife, Kendra Lapsansky, Dunmore; Dave Torbeck and wife Beth, Melbourne, Fla.; and Mike Torbeck and wife, Cindy, Coconut Creek, Florida;  nieces and nephews.

Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to add to order under the care and direction of the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel, PA.
