Obituaries » Kathleen Lou Swingle January 30, 2014 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Kathleen Lou Swingle, 82, of Lake Ariel died Thursday morning at Regional Hospital of Scranton following an illness. Her beloved husband of 63 years is Jess L. Swingle. Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Willard and Iva Mae Daily Morgan, she was a member of the South Canaan Free Methodist Church. She had been employed by Katz Manufacturing and had also owned and operated her own beauty shop as well as ceramic shop where she gave lessons. Her hobbies included reading, Japanese Bunka Embroidery and growing house plants. She especially treasured spending time with her loved ones. Kasey will be forever lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family. Also surviving are daughters Patricia Henning of Lancaster and Jessica Merrigan of Lake Ariel; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers William and Charles and sisters Beatrice and Ruth. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00am in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel with services by Rev. William Rushik. Friends may call Monday from 10:00-11:00am. Interment, Salem Cemetery, Hamlin.
