Friends may call on Wednesday the 6th from 3-5 p.m. at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA and on Thursday, July 7th from 9-10 am at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Inc., Lake Ariel, PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at St. Thomas More, Lake Ariel, PA.

Interment will be made in All Saints Cemetery, Hollisterville, PA.

Should friends so desire, contributions in his memory may be made to the Scott Township Lions Club, 54 Grone Road, Scott Township, PA 18847 or the American Diabetes Association.

JOHN “JACK” McGOLDRICK

John “Jack” McGoldrick, 77, of Great Bend, PA passed away on July 1, 2022 at Barnes-Kasson Hospital, Susquehanna, PA after a short illness.

Born in Scranton, he is the son of the late John and Margie White McGoldrick. He is also predeceased by a brother-in-law, John Yedinak and a nephew, Ryan Yedinak.

Jack is a graduate from Scranton Technical High School and attended the University of Scranton. He served two years with the US Navy aboard the USS Independence.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara Yedinak McGoldrick; brothers-in-law, Robert Yedinak and wife, Cathy, and Joseph Yedinak and wife Beverly; nephews, John Jason Yedinak and companion Jacinta Smedley, Cody Yedinak and wife Katie, Joseph Yedinak, Jr., and Justin Yedinak; niece, Heather Dall and husband, Matt; great niece, Ella Grace Yedinak.

Jack was a banker and worked at Northeastern Bank, Chase Manhatten, PNC, and NBT Bank. He served as the President of Broome County Bankers in Binghamton, NY. He was active in the International Lions Club, serving as District Governor, District 14H of Scranton, and member of the Scott Lions. He was active with the Knights of Columbus, Great Bend Chapter, serving as treasurer. He was a lifetime member of the Hallstead American Legion, serving with the color guard. Jack was a devoted Catholic and member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Great Bend, PA.

He was an avid Notre Dame, Yankees, and Giants fan and enjoyed trips to games, especially weekends to Notre Dame. He liked working with the groups he belonged to, travelling and spending time with close friends.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. B. Patel, the nurses, therapists, and support staff of Barnes-Kasson Hospital for the wonderful care he received for the last ten weeks.
