John J. Yedinak, 64 of Hamlin, passed away on Saturday, November 27 at Regional Hospital of Scranton following a courageous battle with Covid-19.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Veronica Novak Yedinak. He was a graduate of Western Wayne Class of 1972. John and his sons own and operate JJC Services and Evergreen Hill in Hamlin. He was also employed by Penn Foster in Scranton. He attended St. Thomas More Church, Lake Ariel.

John enjoyed spending time with his close friends and working on the farm. His granddaughter Ella Grace Yedinak was the apple of his eye. John will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving are sons John Jason Yedinak and his companion Jacinta Smedley and Cody Yedinak and his wife Katie; granddaughter Ella Grace Yedinak; his companion of 18 years Jayne Hetrick and her children Garrett, Laura, and Jason; sister Barbara McGoldrick and her husband John; brothers Robert Yedinak and his wife Cathy and Joseph Yedinak and his wife Beverly; many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank John’s ICU nurse Mike for his devoted care.
