Private cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10am in the St. Thomas More Church 105 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel by Rev. Stephen Stavoy.

All CDC and State guidelines will be strictly enforced, including the mandatory
use of facial coverings and proper social distancing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe made to: St. Joseph’s Center Infant Adoption Program, Attention:  Tamara Hall Memorial of James Romanowski, 320 South Blakely St. Dunmore, PA 18512

James J. Romanowski, 64 of Lake Ariel, died Monday at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. His loving wife of 45 years is the former Susan Sebring.

Born May 11, 1956 in Scranton, he was the son of the late John G. Romanowski and Jean Cook Turner. He was a graduate of Western Wayne High School Class of 1974. He was the owner of American Refrigeration Technologies for 15 years and was currently employed by Knuth Refrigeration.

James enjoyed hunting, fishing, and many other outdoor activities. He was always working on a project around the house and could fix anything.  He cherished the time he spent with his granddaughter Everly James.

In addition to his wife Susan he is also survived by his daughter Trish Zimmerman, son in law Matthew Zimmerman and their daughter Everly James of Scott Township; sister Mary Krisovitch and brother in law Joseph Krisovitch of Lake Ariel; his devoted dog Mazi; and many other family and friends.
