Dear, Gary, Debra, and family, It was a sad day that we lost Uncle Irv. He was a special man who cared about everyone. My dad, Joe, admired, loved, and respected your dad so much, as did we. He always had a smile for us and anyone he met. My (Karen) memories as a child were going to your home on Saturday nights and our dads watching Gunsmoke together. Then your mom would make the most wonderful dessert for all of us. Such good memories. Some Saturdays you would come to our house and we couldn't wait for you to come. When I married Ed he got to know and love your dad just as I had. I am sorry we can't be there for the funeral. With Ed's poor health and precarious traveling, it isn't possible. But we will be with you in our thoughts and prayers today. You dad was a brilliant but loving and friendly man. He will be missed by all who knew him. With our deepest sympathy, Karen and Ed
