Heather C. Field, 44, of Lake Ariel went home to be with her lord and savior on June 16th, 2021.

Raised in Lake Ariel, she graduated from Western Wayne High School. She received a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Penn State.

Heather’s love of life didn’t come to an end with her death. The simplest pleasures in life brought her great joy. She loved fishing, hunting, and all things of the natural world, especially turtles and flowers. She showed her love by cooking and doing other small acts of kindness for people. A lover of all animals, she was dog mom to Rascal, Harley, Timber, and Benji who preceded her in death and Baxter (still living).

Heather’s kind heart touched many lives. She always went out of her way to make life more beautiful for others, and her family hopes she is remembered for that. Over the past few years, Heather’s faith in God was “awakened” and she routinely shared the good news of God’s promises with her family and friends. Luke 1:45; Hebrews 11:13.

Surviving is her mother Sandy Field of Lake Ariel, Sister Kelly Thompson and husband Bridger, Carlisle; and her companion Ed Balanovich of Lakeville; two nephews, Will and Samuel Thompson; and her best friend of 38 years, Terisa Carr.

She was preceded in death by her father Raymond Field who died unexpectedly 5 months earlier.

Friends may call Thursday June 24th from 4 to 7pm at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.

It will be asked of all attending to please pay your respects in a timely manner snd after doing so please exit the funeral home.  Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated.

Interment will take place in Salem Cemetery.
