Eileen M. Fischer

Eileen M. Fischer, Lake Ariel, formerly of Franklin, New Jersey, died January 30th in the Julia Ribaudo Healthcare Center after an illness.   Her husband of more than 60 years is George Fischer.

Born in Passaic, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late James and Olga Brady.   Eileen attended school in New Jersey and upon completion of high school continued her education in early childhood education at William Paterson University.  She was of the Catholic faith.   Prior to her retirement she had been employed as a preschool teacher.

Surviving are her children Edward Fischer and his wife Ann Marie of Blairstown, NJ,  Elayne Wagman and her husband Jeff of Lititz, PA,  Nancy Hardick and her husband Wayne of Lake Ariel, PA,  Erick Fischer,  Wendy Lazier and her husband Dale, James Fischer and his wife Leslie and Michael Fischer all of Vernon, New Jersey;  sisters Carole Fragola and Lynn Insanito;  brothers Paul, James and Dennis Brady all of New Jersey;  fifteen grandchildren;  eleven great grandchildren;  nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a grandson Ryan Hardick in 2008.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10am in the St. Thomas More Church 105 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel by Rev. Stephen Stavoy, pastor.

Friends may call Friday morning from 9am until time of Mass at the church.

Spring interment, Kizer Cemterey.
