Obituaries » Doreen Yanoski Swingle March 10, 1961 - October 17, 2018 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Doreen Yankoski Swingle, 57, of Lake Ariel, died Wednesday at Cornell Medical Hospital in New York after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Robert Yankoski, Scranton and the late Eileen Bogdan. She was a graduate of Scranton Central High School and went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Scranton. She was employed as a Residential Mortgage Lending Officer by Wayne Bank, Honesdale. Doreen was a loving mother whose world revolved around her two daughters. She was a devoted friend and an avid donor to multiple organizations. Surviving are her two daughters Danielle and Carly Swingle both of Lake Ariel; a sister Denise Duda and her husband Mark, Scranton; a brother Robert Yankoski and his wife Susan, Tunkhannock; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Walsh.
