Beverly G. Knecht Muir
Born in the Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Leah Black Muir. She was a graduate of Lake Consolidated School. Prior to retirement she was employed as a Case worker/ LPN at Ellen Memorial Healthcare Center for over 25 years.
Also surviving are a daughter Nancy Porcaro and her husband Joseph of Beach Lake; grand children Megan Compton, Mary McNamara Brittany Porcaro, Ashley Tuttle, and Dennis Porcaro; great grand children Amber Cozza, Madison, Maykala, Jacoby, Jaxson, Sydney, Steven, Kyle,Kieran, and Kaden; sisters Evelyn Kushmerick of Scranton, Mary Doherty of Texas, Lois Johnson of Archbald, and Barbara Harvick of Peckville; a brother Robert Muir of Jermyn; several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by a brother Clinton Muir .
Private Cremation will take place in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
