I am sorry to hear about the passing of Angelo, earlier this year. I had the pleasure of meeting him at his home in the Bronx, where my mom and Aunt Jean were tenants. He was a good man, and took both in, and even cared for my aunt, for years after moving to PA. God bless you, Angelo! May you Rest In Peace.

Angelo Antzakas was an uncle. He was a fantastic person who had to flee Greece following its invasion by Nazi Germany in the early days just prior to WWII in April 1941. Got to know him as young teen, He was an absolutely delightful and caring person. I loved his home made yogurt and having chats with him, especially on a visit to his home in PA. He took care to welcome family and friends. He will be missed, but he is close to the heart. RIP Uncle Angelo. From Roma: Uncle Angelo was an intriguing individual. He was funny, caring, and gifted with his special greenhouse. I'll always remember the night we sat up having sips of ouzo, laughing and being funny. What a character. Special memories in my heart. He will be missed. Love, Joe & Roma

I'm so sorry to hear about uncle Angelo's passing. I am also sorry that I never got down to you guys to visit. I loved my uncle and I'll miss him. He was a great man, kind and generous. He also had a green thumb. My uncle Angelo was a very good cook and introduce me to many different Greek foods. One of my favorites was his chicken lemon soup. My wife also always says he made the best Spanikopita she ever ate. We send out love to love and our prayers. Chris, If there is anything we can do to help out, please let us know.
