Friends may call  Thursday, May 6th from 4 to 7 pm at the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Road, Lake Ariel, Pa.  The funeral will be on Friday May 7th at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, Pa.

The family requests that no flowers be sent.  Donations may be made to either the Salem Community Church, 613 Hamlin Hwy, P.O. Box 126 Hamlin, Pa 18427 or the Lake Ariel United Methodist Church, 110 Maple Ave, Lake Ariel, Pa 18436.

Alice Krombel , 85 of Hamlin, Pa passed away on May 2, 2021.  Her husband of 62 years, Paul, died in 2014.

Born in Angels, Pa, (now known as Newfoundland),  she was the daughter of the late Donald and Olga Stevens.

Alice & Paul had 10 children and owned and operated their own school bus business from  1975 to 2009 and she was the treasurer for the Hamlin United Methodist Church (now Salem Community Church) for many years.

Alice is survived by her daughters Ann Peet and husband Gerard (Lake Ariel, Pa), Paula Peet and husband Joseph (Hamlin, Pa), Cindy Ronk (Pittson, Pa), Pamela Enslin (Honesdale, Pa), Wendy Bellas (Shickshinny, Pa),  and Bonnie Benedict and husband Tom (Hamlin, Pa),  with whom she resided,  and sons Keith (Honesdale, Pa), Leonard and wife Diane,  and Neal and wife Polly (Hamlin, Pa), 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, one great, great granddaughter, a sister Shirley Brodowsky and husband Rudy (Moscow, Pa), and a brother Wayne (Newfoundland, Pa) and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents,  she was preceded in death by a son Timothy; a great granddaughter Addison ; four sons-in-law Sanford Cunningham (Wendy), John Bellas (Wendy), Eugene Ronk (Cindy),  and Dwayne Enslin (Pamela); a brother Ronald Stevens; three brothers- in- law and five sisters-in-law.
