Rebecca Lynn Davis died Tuesday at Moses Taylor Hospital shortly after birth.
She was the infant daughter of Scott T. and Beverly Masker Davis of Scranton.
Also surviving are paternal grandparents Sam and Carol Davis, Lake Ariel; a maternal grandmother Mary Masker, Scranton.
She was preceded in death by a brother Scott Dylan Davis.
A graveside service will be Friday at 11:00am in the Maplewood Evangelical Cemetery, Maplewood.

Eleanor A. Pruss, Ledgedale, died friday afternooon in the Jewish Home of Eastern Pa after an illness. Her husband of 56 years was the late Edward Pruss.
She was born in Dickson City and was the daughter of the late Ignatz and Anna Dadurka Wycko. Prior to retirement she had been employed in the garment Industry and helping her husband on the family farm. She was a member of St Mary’s Church, Ledgedale, it’s Alter and Rosary Society, the Orchard Lake Deanery, the Ledgedale Volunteer Fire Co Auxillary and the 4h club.
Eleanor was a city girl when she married the love of her life Edward and became a country girl.
The family would like to thank staff of the Jewish Home and the sixth floor staff at Mercy Hospital for their compassionate and thoughtful care.
Surviving are daughters Margaret Miller and husband John of Mt Wolf, Pa, Christina Salak and husband Donald of Waymart and Mary Pruss of Scranton; a son Edward of Ledgedale; a brother Dennis Wycko of Ca; grandchildren Robert and wife Christine, Bernadine, Ellen and fiance Jeffrey and David.
Preceded in death by a sister Bernadine and brothers Edward, Alfred and Joseph.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10am in St Mary’s Church St Marys Rd Ledgedale to be celebrated by Rev Ronald Altrui.
Cremation will follow Mass in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home.
Interment will be in St Marys Cemetery at a later date.
Family and friends are asked to go directly to the church on Tuesday morning.
Viewing will be held on Monday evening at the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity rd (RT 296) Lake Ariel from 5-8pm.

Michael Wargo, Jr, 77 of Lake Ariel Pa died July 2, 2010at the Brighten at Julia Ribaudo Nursing home Lake Ariel after a 11 year illness. His wife of 37 years is the former Paula Policastro-Wargo.
Formerly of Morris county NJ Mike was a Police Officer for 25 years in Hanover Twp, NJ. He was a PBA member, The American Legion and an Army veteran serving in the 82nd Army Airborne, at Fort Bragg NC, Mike had also drove for M.A.P.S. of Morristown NJ. Mike also enjoyed a good cigar a glass of wine flowers and his dogs.
Also Surving Sons: Michael John Wargo, Douglas Wargo both of Va, Daughter April Wargo of NC, Step Children George Policastro and Rose Policasro-Stephens both of NJ a sister Ann Marie Biche of NJ.

Edwin R. Jagielski, Lake Ariel, died Friday in the Mercy Hospital Hospice Unit after an illness.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Anthony and Leona Jagielski. He attended Temple University in Philadelphia and was retired from the original Mt. Airy Resort as a Bell Captain. He was a United States Army veteran.
He was an avid photographer, fisherman and also volunteered at the Clearwater animal shelter in Florida.
Surviving are his caretakers Carolyn Gregorski of Lake Ariel and Kris Padula of Mt. Cobb; a brother Anthony Jagielski of Philadelphia; a niece and two nephews.
Military services will be conducted Tuesday at 7pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home Route 296 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.

Cremation will take place in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home.

Julian J. “Doodle” Hineline, Lake Ariel, died early Friday morning in the Community Medical Center. His wife of 44 years if the former Nancy J. Shaffer.
Born in Salem Twp., Wayne County, son of the late Willard and Emma Kethledge Margellina Hineline. He was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church. Prior to retirement he had been employed by RR Wilmont Construction Company.
He loved spending time with his granddaughter, working on his tractors and working in his garden.
Surviving are a son Jim Hineline and a daughter Lisa Hineline both of Lake Ariel; a sister Elaine Goreham of Missouri; a granddaughter Juli of Lake Ariel; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by siblings Samuel Margellina, Helen Margellina, Philip, Harold, Shirley, Kenny and George.

James R. O’Neill of Lake Ariel died June 24th in Tidewell Hospice in Bradenton, FL after an illness. His wife of 30 years is the former Kathleen Nolan.
Born in Port Jefferson, NY, son of the late John W. and Pauline Chapman O’Neill, he was a graduate of Honesdale High School. He had been employed at Bell Telephone for 32 years. He was a member of St. Thomas More/St. Mary’s Parish Community, St. Joseph’s Parish, Bradenton, FL, American Legion Post # 579, Moscow, the Lake Ariel Lions Club, the Elmhurst Country Club, the Honesdale Golf Club, the Knights of Columbus Msgr. McDonough Council 7403, and WEDCO. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He loved to golf and run golf tournaments. He loved and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Also surviving are a son Donald I. Mickel, Jr., Clarks Summit; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother John C.; sisters Mary Ann O’Neill and Patricia Lengner.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00am in St. Thomas More Church 105 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.

Born in Patterson, NJ, she was the daughter of William and Phyllis Williams Doig of Oakland, New Jersey. She was a graduate of Indian Hills High School in New Jersey. She was a member of the St Thomas More and St Mary’s Parish Community. She was employed by the Wallenpaupack Area School District in the food service department.

David G. Robinson, South Canaan, died Wednesday evening at Marian Community Hospital after being stricken ill at home. His wife of 46 years is the former Mary Ann Bronson.
Born in Carbondale, he was the son of the late George and Helen Bosak Robinson. He was a graduate of Waymart High School.
Prior to retirement in 2004 he had worked for 38years at the State Correctional Institute at Waymart. He had served on the Board of Directors at the Canaan Bible Protestant Cemetery.
He loved to hunt, fish and garden.
Surviving are sons David Robinson and his wife Tammy and Keith Robinson and his wife Becky all of Waymart and Bill Robinson and his wife Shannon of South Canaan; a daughter Tammy Zdziarski and her husband John of Waymart; grandchildren Megan, Taylor, Matthew, Hannah, Briar, Brandon, KeAndra, David, Michaela, Amy, Chad, Melissa and Keyly; great grandchildren Shylynn, Austin, Gavin, Zack, Nathan, and Ian; siblings Jane Ovens, Francis Robinson, Tom Robinson, Bessie Palmer, Louise Cummings, Marie Dragwa and Richie Robinson.

Paul J. Mailen, II, Sterling Twp., died peacefully Wednesday in the Fox Chase Hospital surrounded by his loving family. His wife of 25 years is the former Linda McLain.
Born December 25, 1952 in Scranton he was the son of Paul J. Mailen, Scranton and the late Ruth Ann Evans Mailen. Paul was a man of character, understanding, generosity and love. He was a 1970 graduate of West Scranton High School and a member of the 1970 class A basketball eastern final team. He was employed at RCA/Thomson Electronics for 30 years. Because of his love of basketball he became a PIAA official and practiced it for twenty two years. He mostly enjoyed folllowing his children’s athletic careers, his boys were his world and his wife was his absolute soul mate and the love of his life. His persepctive of life was a no nonsense, simplicity and unconditional love always putting others before himself. A friend to many, he will be sadly missed by the lives he touched and his big black lab Damien.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for the loving care giving by Dr. Armando Sallavanti, Dr. Vitaly Geyfman, Dr. Alvin Sharma and Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Drs. Neeta Somaiah and Allan Haber.
Surviving are his loving wife Linda R. Mailen of Sterling; two sons Ryne Richard Mailen of Sterling and Paul J. Mailen, III and his wife Marygrace of Old Forge; two grandsons Andrew and Connor Mailen; a twin brother Craig J. Mailen of West Scranton; a brother Scott A. Phyllis Chumard Patterson Nash, 97, Lake Ariel, died Friday night in the Brighten at Julia Ribuado Senior Care Center after an illness. She was the widow of her first husband Cecil Patterson and her second husband Richard Nash.
Born April 5, 1913 in Hamlin, she was the daughter of the late Frank W and Rena Faith Basley Chumard. She attended the Lake Vocational and State College High Schools. She graduated from Penn State University and received her Master’s Degree from Drexel University. Phyllis had Patterson’s Department Store in Lake Ariel and taught at the Green Dreher High School in Newfoundland and at Conestoga High School in Berwyn.
She knitted 300 Lap Robes for veteran’s homes in Tennessee and afghans for family and friends. She loved to travel especially to Hawaii and Alaska.
Surviving are her children Gary Patterson and his wife Elisa of Azusa, Ca. and Gale Patterson Shaw and her husband Steve of Buena Vista, Co. She is also survived by Richard Nash’s children Richard Nash, Jr of Ocean City, NJ, Barbara Nash Griffin of Westminster, Md. and Mary Lou Nash Gross of Norristown. Also surviving are her brother and sister in law Ted Chumard and his wife Emma of Lake Ariel and a sister and brother in law Eleanor Chumard Green and her husband Charles of Knoxville, Tn; two granddaughters Linda Shaw and Karen Kitto; three great grandchildren Cullyn Shaw, Evi Hager and Landon Kitto.
Preceded in death by her brother and sister in law Geary and Marjorie Chumard, her sister and brother in law Isabel and Joe Patterson and her brother Bob Chumard.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Pierelli Corazzi. She was a 1952 graduate of the former Scranton Technical High School. She was a member of St. Thomas More/St. Mary’s Parish Community. She had been very involved in many Hideout organizations and the Wayne/Pike County AACA. She was a loving wife, mother and nonnie.
Surviving are a sister Ida Scacchitti of Scranton; a son Joseph H. Covey of Nutley, NJ and a daughter Eva Maria Fenning of N. Coldwell, NJ; eight grandchildren.

Born in Wimmers, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Margerie Bartleson Wood. She was a graduate of the Lake Consolidated School and the Career Technical Center where she earned a degree as a licensed practical nurse. She was a member of the Avoy Christian Church. She had been employed as an LPN at St. Mary’s Villa.

Roberta P. Mulvey, 71, of Lake Ariel died Friday evening at St. Mary’s Villa Nursing Home after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband of 51 years William C. Mulvey.
Born in Mineola, NY, to the late Robert F. and Margaret Black McCrum. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes High School, Queens Village, NY.
She was an avid reader and also enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

Helen S. Himka, Lake Ariel died Thursday morning in the Allied Skilled Nursing Home after an illness. She was the widow of John Himka who died in 2006. The couple had been married for 68 years.
Born in Brooklyn Twp., Pa. she was the daughter of the late Teofil andStella Vetz Gardoski. She was a 1938 graduate of the Brooklyn Vocational High School where she was valedectorian.
Helen enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved sewing, cooking, baking and caring for her vegetable and flower gardens. She had a great interest in current events.
Surviving are sons Paul and his wife Marie of Nicholson and Thomas of Vestal Center, NY; sister Alice Corbin of Kingsley; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by brothers Alex, Chester and Joseph.

Joyce E “Rusty” Dowse, 64 of Hamlin died Friday at Community medical center, surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 44 years is John R.”Jack” Dowse Sr. She was born Bethlehem Pa .Daughter of the Late George and Ruth Bissey Miller.
She was a 1964 graduate of Blakley High School. Prior to retirement she had been employed at Eureka Security Printing taking an early retirement to be her mothers care giver.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother (nana). Joyce was an excellent cook, and loved gardening and everyone complemented her on her beautiful flowers. Joyce had a great personality and a loving heart. She was a good friend and would help anyone in need.
Also surviving: daughters Tammy Martin and husband Sam, Lakeville, Heidi Schultz and husband Robert Peckville, son John R. Dowse Jr ,and wife Lisa of Lake Ariel. Four Grandchildren Ryan Martin, Lakeville, Marissa Dowse, Lake Ariel, Hayley and Heather Schultz, Peckville a sister Carole Parkinson, Bethlehem. An aunt, nieces, nephews,and cousins.

Howard R. Mousley, Sr., 81, of Lake Ariel died Tuesday at home after a long illness. His wife of 41 years is the former Lois Shaffer.
Born June 12, 1928 in Irvington, NJ, he was the son of the late Howard and Marion Perkins Mousley. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, he was retired from Salem Hardware Store, and he attended the Hamlin Assembly of God Church.
Also surviving are 4 children and their spouses Kelly Ann and Shawn Hambel, Waymart, Howard Jr. and Lisa Mousley, Jefferson Twp., Marion and Rusty Coutts, Paupack, Kevin and Dana Mousley, Greenville, NC; 11 grandchildren Whitney, Davey, and Shelby Fendelander, Austin Mousley, Ashley and Cristin Wormuth, Kurtis and Alexander Coutts, Hayleigh, Savannah, and Lexie Mousley; a sister Gail Ann Kinzinger, Honesdale; a brother Eugene (Skip) Mousley, Waymart; several nieces and nephews.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Peter and Olga Wallick Leschik, he had worked as a foreman at Big Bass Lake. He loved being a D.J. He was a Past Commander of the Sons of American Legion Post # 274, Gouldsboro.

Born in Scranton, daughter of Kathryn Rosengrant Harris, Lake Ariel and the late Joseph Harris, she was a graduate of the Lake Consolidated School. She had worked as a Manager at Ehrhardt’s Waterfront Resort. She was a member of the Cortez United Methodist Church, Cortez.
She loved taking trips with her husband Bill, the love of her life. She enjoyed traveling to national parks across the country and to Canada in her motor home. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved caring for her beloved dog, Lincoln. She always looked forward to the yearly trips to the shore with the girls. She loved working outside, doing yard work, and caring for her flowerbeds.
Surviving are a daughter Jackie Kizer and her husband Mark, Lake Ariel; two sons John Walsh and his wife Renee, Hamlin, and Jeremy Walsh and his fiancée JoAnna Salomon, Greentown; a stepson William Gumble, Philadelphia; three sisters Darlene Krukowski, Jefferson Twp, Judy Harris, Lake Ariel, and Kathy Park, Jefferson Twp.; 4 grandchildren Cody, Courtney, Sophia, and Gavin; several nieces and nephews.

Bill loved athletics. He was a US Army Track & Field Team award winner. He completed 6 New York City Marathons, 2 Boston Marathons, and 1 Washington D.C. Marathon. He was a member of the Bowens Bulls and Bears Senior Softball Team in New Jersey.
Surviving are sons Douglas, TX, Wayne, GA; a step-son Michael Chodosh, CO; a daughter Cynthia Lynch, TX; step-daughters Katherine Bergmann, MA, Marilyn Kruegel, CO; grandchildren Connor, David, Daniel, Ryan, Christopher, Vanessa, Andrew, Sarah, Laura, and Evan.

Born in Throop, son of the late Fonce and Catherine Doherty Panullo, he was a retired dairy farmer and had employed by General Motors. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
He loved playing baseball in his earlier years with the Wayne County Softball League. He enjoyed bowling and golf and he had been an amauter boxer in the Marines. He loved wildlife.
Also surviving are a son Alfonce Tim and his wife Dawn, Lake Ariel; daughters Cheryl Orenick and her husband Steve, and Sarah Mata and her husband Martin, all of Waymart; an Aunt Josie Luklanchuk, Throop; a grandson Nick Mata; several cousins.

Mertie Mae Galamb, 62, of Lake Ariel, PA died on Tuesday March 30, 2010 at her home. Mertie was born in Perth Amboy, NJ and lived in Sewaren, NJ before moving to PA in 1999.
Mertie was a successful business owner of numerous hair salons, Picture Perfect Salons in the 1970s, owner and promoter of the Universal Wrestling Alliance and a production company in the 1980s and in the early 2000s she retired to Lake Ariel, PA.
Throughout their 45 years of marriage, Mertie and Dennis always made their love for one another and their children the priority of their lives. They enjoyed working together in many of their businesses and always made time for one another, especially for weekend getaways to Atlantic City, NJ.
Mertie was a faithful member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Newfoundland. Throughout her life, she took great comfort and strength from her faith. She was known throughout her church community for her kindness and loving generosity to the family of parishioners at St. Anthony of Padua.
Mertie is survived by her husband of 45 years, Dennis Galamb, Lake Ariel; her 5 children, Geri Fasano, Woodbridge, NJ; Dennis Galamb, Jr., Carteret, NJ; Maggie Rosario, Sewaren, NJ; Joseph Galamb, Marlboro, NJ; and Michael Galamb, Sewaren, NJ; and her 11 grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Charles Post, Washington, NJ.

Born June 1, 1927 in Queens, NY, daughter of the late Edward and Constantina Epiphania O’Connor, she was a business and real estate owner. She was the first female member of the Queens Village Chamber of Commerce.
Nora was a passionate, independent, and generous woman. She was a leader and inspiration to the women of her time. She lived her life as a devoted daughter, grandmother, artist, and photographer. Her most loved hobbies were sharing days at the beach with her family and traveling the world with her lifelong partner Bill Penny.
She is survived by her two loving sons Billy and Denis; 4 grandchildren Kimberly, Bill, Rachel, and Bradley whose educations and achievements give her great pride.

Vincenzo DiNoto of Lake Ariel died Sunday at home. His wife of 31 years is the former Antonia Cutrone.
Born in Palermo, Sicily son of Angela Vitale DiNoto, Palermo, Sicily and the late Guiseppe DiNoto, he worked as an Auto/Truck Mechanic and at Grassi and Sons Excavation, Mt. Cobb. He was a member of St. Thomas More/St. Mary’s Parish Community.
Vincenzo was a simple man with a gift for fixing all things mechanical. Everyone who knew him was aware of his honesty and powerful work ethic. He was doing what he loved until the end. He was working on Saturday and died peacefully in his sleep that night.
Also surviving are sons Joseph, Baltimore, MD, and Vincent, at home; a daughter Anna, Washington; a brother Salvatore, Staten Island, NY; a sister Sylvia D-Anna, Oyster Bay, NY, Yanna, Maria, Roseta, and Emma, all of Italy.

Theresa Pitcavage Myers, 62, of Hamlin, went home to the Lord on Friday morning at Mercy Hospice Care following a lengthy illness.
Born April 27, 1947, in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Pitcavage.
Theresa graduated from Scranton Central High School, and received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Marywood College. She continued on her educational pursuit and earned a Master’s Degree from Wilkes University. She began her teaching career at Salem Township Elementary School and continued teaching within the Western Wayne School District. Theresa had a passion for learning and shaping the lives of the many children that were entrusted with her guidance through their early formative years. After 35 years as a dedicated teacher, Theresa retired in December 2007 to devote her time to her family and friends.
Theresa enjoyed working in her yard, daily walks on her country road, and spending time with friends at Curves Fitness Center. She was involved in many church and community activities. Most of all, Theresa loved to be surrounded by family and friends.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Rich; and children, Scott, Maplewood; Paul, Pittsburgh; and Gail, Columbia, South Carolina.
Also surviving are brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Rose Pitcavage, Connecticut; sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Jack Biddix, South Carolina; sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Jim Smith, Erie; and brother, Robert Pitcavage, Hamlin; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Sandra Ann “Sandy” Aleckna-Neely, 51, of Winchester, Tn., formerly of Sterling, died January 11 at home following an illness. Her husband is Marcus Neely.
Born in Sterling, she is the daughter of Mary Stepper Aleckna and the late Bronie Aleckna. She was a 1977 graduate of Western Wayne High School before moving to Summerfield, Fl., and then settling in Winchester, Tn.
Sandy loved spending time gardening and her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and wife. She was also a devoted and loving foster mother for many years. She touched many lives and will never be forgotten.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of Genevieve Booths Borowski, S. Canaan and the late John E. Borowski, she was a graduate of the Lake Consolidated School and attended Marywood University. She had worked as a Pharmacy Technician, a seamstress, a waitress at the former White Beauty Inn, and as a Census worker.
She loved to travel.
Surviving are daughters Colleen Carmody and her husband William, Waymart and Christine Carey and her husband Eugene, Hamlin; brothers Paul Borowski, S. Canaan, John Borowski, Wilkes-Barre, Dr. Gregory Borowski, Clarks Summit; a sister Natalie Palkovic, Lake Ariel; grandchildren Michaella, Madeline, Robert, Abigail, Rebecca, and Rachel; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30am in St. Thomas More Church 105 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00-7:00pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home Rt. 296 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.

James W. Miller, Jr., Lake Ariel, died Friday at Mercy Hospital after an illness. His wife is the former Sandra Enge.
Born in Connecticut, he was the son of Jacqueline Miller-Vogel of Lake Ariel and the late James W Miller, Sr. He was a graduate of Darien High School. He was of the Catholic faith. He was a former police officer with the Darien Police Force serving with their special unit. He served as past chief of the Darien Volunteer Fire Company, was a member of the Norton Heights Volunteer Fire Company and served on its Board of Directors, and also served on the Board of Directors and was a training officer for the Lake Ariel Volunteer Fire Company.
He was an avid chili cook, winning the 1st annual Massachesets tabasco cook off.
Surviving are a brother Scott and his wife Teresa of Florida; a sister Sheryl Kayser and her husband Alan of Lake Ariel; a step father George Vogel of Lake Ariel; nieces and a nephew.
Blessing service will be held Thursday at 6pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.
Friends may call Thursday from 4-6pm in the funeral home.

Michael W. "Bill" Palkovic, Sr., Lake Ariel, died Wednesday evening at Mercy Hospital after an illness. His wife of 42 years is the former Natalie Borowski.
Born in Albany, NY, son of the late Matthew G. and Catherine M. Daley Palkovic, he was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. He was a member of St. Thomas More/St. Mary’s Parish Community and had worked at Endicott-Johnson as a district manager for 25 years and as a salesman for Tom Hesser Chevrolet BMW, Scranton. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Also surviving are a son John and his wife Lauri, S. Canaan, and Michael, Jr. and his wife Karyn, Larksville; a daughter Nicole Cush and her husband Jim N. Babylon, NY; a brother Matthew, Newburgh, NY; sisters Gloria Nistal, Newburgh, NY and Elizabeth Alvarado, CA; grandchildren Dan, Michael III, Nicholas, Jordan, Cassandra, Matthew, Jackson, Owen, Carmen, J. Cush,
He was preceded in death by sisters Kay Connell and Dolores Kramer.

Robert A. MacDowell, Lake Ariel, died Tuesday at Community Medical Center after an illness. His wife of 13 years is the former Kathleen Baker.
Born in Queens, NY, son of Rosemarie Gagel MacDowell, Woodside, NY and the late Robert J. MacDowell, he was a member of St. Thomas More/St. Mary’s Parish Community. Prior to retirement he had worked at AT&T.
Also surviving are a son Robert, NY; daughters Christina Marie MacDowell, Carbondale, Sgt. Melissa Jane MacDowell, USMC, Camp Pendleton, CA, Colleen Elizabeth MacDowell, Lake Ariel; brothers Richard and Kenneth and a sister Nancy Falcinelli all of NY; father and mother-in-law Peter and Eleanor Baker, Lake Ariel; grandchildren Dylan, Eleanor, Charlotte, and Robert G.; an uncle Walton Gagle, FL; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11:00am in St. Mary’s Church St. Mary’s Church Rd. Ledgedale.

Walter "Russ" Gould, 92, Lake Ariel, died Friday morning at Mercy Hospice after an illness. His wife is the former Betty Jane Buchanan.
Born in Taylortown, NJ, son of the late Walter Ashley and Kittie H. Bott Gould, he was a graduate of Boonton High School. He had worked at Aircraft Radio & Cessna Aircraft Co in Northern NJ for 29 years and Pyrotronics in Cedar Knolls, NJ for 11 years until retirement. He enjoyed golf, the Pittsburgh Steelers, picking blueberries and going to the Scranton Farmers Market. He was a member of the Hideout Golf Committee and ECC.
Also surviving are a daughter Janet Gibian and her husband Clifford, Media, PA; grandchildren Todd Gibian, Media, PA, Ryan Gibian and his wife Debbie, Springfield, PA, Megan Moore and her husband Jim, Media, PA; great-grandchildren Alex, Scott, Lizzy, Georgia, Morgan, Grace, and Aiden; a step-son Kere Baker and his wife Kathy; a step-daughter Kathy Neifert and her husband Bill.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Kathryn Kennedy Gould who passed away in 1967; two brothers and two sisters.
At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or memorial service.
Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
