Timothy Wayne Edwards

Timothy Wayne Edwards of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania passed away on September 3^rd, 2021.

Born in Binghamton, NY and the son of the late Wayne C. Edwards & Marion C. Edwards. Tim graduated from Western Wayne High School in the class of ’76 and can be remembered from back then for his quick wit and fast car. He was an active member of the Lake Ariel community, which he loved, and there wasn’t a day his laugh wasn’t heard around town. Tim worked with Sharkey Fuels for over 30 years, where his coworkers and customers were like family to him.

He learned woodworking from his dad and in their best years they could’ve been found talking shop every afternoon in the family barn. There wasn’t a piece of furniture he couldn’t build or a problem Tim didn’t know how to fix around the house, barn, garage, or yard.

Tim(my) is survived by his wife, Janet L. Edwards who was by his side and together they share a story that goes back more than 35 years. Tim was loved by many in the community and will be missed by family members including aunts, uncles, stepchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was thankful for the friends and neighbors who helped him throughout the years.

Per Tim’s wishes there will be no formal services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
