Thomas J. Grella

Thomas J. Grella, 76 of The Hideout, died Friday morning at Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit in Dunmore. His wife of 26 years is the former Carmen Oliver

Born in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of the late Thomas and Sophia Kret Grella. He was a graduate of Regis High School. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science from Fordham University and a Master of Business Administration from Iona College. Prior to retirement, he was an Account Executive for 3M Corp. He was a member of the St. Thomas More / St. Mary’s Parish Community. He was a United States Marine Corp Veteran.

Also surviving are a daughter Vanessa Hamilton and her husband Peter of Ridgewood, NJ; a son Paul Grella and his wife Sara of Long Beach, CA; a sister Janet Verni and her husband Vito of Florida; grandchildren Olivia, Ian, and George Hamilton; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a niece Susan Sinclair.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, at 10:00am in St. Thomas More Church, 105 Gravity Road, Lake Ariel, Pa 18436.

Inurnment, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ledgedale.
