Kathleen K. Hopkins, 50, of the Lake Ariel, died Thursday morning at
her home in the Hideout. Her husband of 29 years is Guy Hopkins.
Kathleen was born in Kingston Pa. and, prior to her illness, she
worked in the Clubhouse in the Hideout. She loved music and attending
concerts and festivals with her husband and many friends but her true
passion in life was her grandsons who she spent as much time with as
possible. Kat made an impact on everyone she met with her endearing
smile and unconditional love and will be dearly missed by all. We ask
that everyone take solace knowing that her suffering has come to an
end and she is finally at peace.
Also surviving is her daughter Ariel Hopkins and her partner Frank
Souza, Lake Ariel, her son Zach Hopkins, Lake Ariel, her mother-in-law
Sandra Hopkins, Lake Ariel; sister-in-law Casey Hughes and Robert
Hughes, Lake Ariel and their children Emily and Sarah Hughes,
brother-in-law Christopher Hopkins and his son Christopher. and Kat’s
two grandsons Eric and Frank Souza.
Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family.
Donations in Kathleen’s name may be made to the Breast Cancer Research
Foundation, 28 West 44th Street, Suite 609, New York, NY 10036.
