Robert E. Voges, 68, of Cobbs Lake Preserve, Lake Ariel, died Saturday evening at home. His wife and soulmate of 27 years is the former Deborah Lempka. Bob was born in Brooklyn, NY and son of the late Edward Voges and Hilda Hutter. He attended Christ the King High School and Brooklyn Community College. Prior to retirement he was a self employed contractor and also worked for Home Depot in Honesdale. He was an intelligent, kind, funny, sarcastic, loving, family-centric son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed watching the Yankees and the Eagles, singing to rock-and-roll, fishing at the lake, and completing puzzles with his wife. Bob was also an avid lifetime supporter of Budweiser and Lucky Strikes. He was a master craftsman and a perfectionist when it came to his work. Although he was considered the family gossip, he was truly the heart and soul of his family and will be terribly missed.
