Steven Karnick, 52, South Canaan, passed away Monday afternoon in the Wayne Woodlands Manor. Born in Honesdale, he was the son of Clarice Roe Karnick of South replica watches Canaan and the late Adrian Karnick. He was a 1980 graduate of Western Wayne High School and also from The Pennsylvania State University with degrees in Mineral Economics and Liberal Arts. He was employed as a construction manager for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Steve was very proud of his children and their accomplishments. Steve’s family would like to thank the administration and nursing staff at the Wayne Woodlands Manor for their care and thoughtfulness. Also surviving are a daughter Chloe, a 2014 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Marywood University and her companion Joseph Romanowski; a son Cameron, currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh and his companion Bridget Quinn; a brother William Karnick of Mayfield; a sister Andrea Murray and her husband David of South Canaan; a niece Lydia Karnick; nephews Zachary and Collin Murray; aunts; uncles; cousins. He was preceded in death by an infant sister Karen. Services and internment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
