Autum L. Leister, 23, of Moscow, died suddenly Friday while bravely trying to assist her friend at the Nay Aug Gorge. Born in Cleveland, OH she was the daughter of the former Silvia Bonata Leister of Moscow. She attended Western Wayne High School and Empire Beauty School, where she received her cosmetology license. Autum was hoping to one day find a career doing FX makeup for movies and attractions. She was employed at McDonalds in Hamlin for the last few years as a Crew Member. Autum was an artist, capturing photos of all the things she loved; nature, animals, and her friends. She enjoyed hiking and exploring in the wilderness. Truly taking in the beauty of the world that is often overlooked. She was compassionate and cared deeply about every person involved in her life. Autum always wanted to involve everyone. She was a brave, remarkable young woman. Also surviving are a sister Alicia Leister and her companion David Muzi of Moscow; Autum’s companion of many years, Steven Sterling; grandmother Laura Bonata of Croatia; aunt Flora Bozicevic of Croatia; uncle Valentino Bonata of Croatia; and many cousins and family members both overseas and in Ohio. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Alfredo Bonata. Friends may call on Friday from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel, Pa. The family requests that everyone bring a single flower to the viewing. Cremation to follow at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. |
