Burial Date: March 17, 2018 Church St Johns Episcopal Church A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 17th at 11am at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 564 Easton Turnpike, Hamlin Pa. 18427 with services by Rev. Ronald R. Miller, Ph.D., Priest in Charge. Family will receive friends from 10am until time of service at the church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Arthur W. Toy Jr., 77, of Moscow died Thursday evening at St. Mary’s Villa, Elmhurst. His wife of over 53 years is Sandra Rohrbacker Toy. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Arthur W. Toy, Sr. and Hilda May O’Connor. He was a 1958 graduate of Lake Consolidation High School and went on to serve his country in the army from early 1959 to March 1962. Art was a certified diesel mechanic and was employed by the International Salt Company for 18 years. He was also employed by C&E Transport and was the owner and operator of Toy Enterprises. Prior to his retirement he was employed at Covington Car Care Center. He was a member of the F&AM Masonic Lodge #504 of Moscow and St. John’s Episcopal Church in Hamlin. Art was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed working on anything with an engine as well as taking care of his lawn. Also surviving is a son Earl Toy, Carbondale; two daughters Virginia Parry, Moscow; and Debra Wirths and her husband Phuong, DuBois, a brother Brian Toy and his wife Dawn, South Carolina; six grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
