John H. Haase of the Hideout, Lake Ariel, died Thursday at home. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 17 years, Susan Klekota Haase.
John was born in Palisades Park, NJ, to the late Henry and Grace Haase. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in social economics from Ramapo College. Prior to retirement, he owned and operated a bread distributorship for Martin’s Famous Potato Rolls and Bread.
Known by his friends as, “The Bread Man,” John enjoyed socializing at the Hideout Club House, fishing, golfing, cooking, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was also an avid NY Giants fan.
Surviving are step-daughters Cheryl Lopez and her husband Byron of Miami, FL, Holly Sundy and her husband Scott of Philadelphia, and Andrea Conniff of Lake Ariel; a sister Lori Haase of Blandon, Pa; grandchildren Juliette, Brianna, and Mia; Nieces and Nephews.
Private Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
