Florence E. DiPerna of Moscow, died Tuesday afternoon at Allied Skilled Nursing following an illness. Her husband was the late Armond DiPerna who died in 2007. Born in Queens, NY, daughter of the late Henry and Florence Anderson Johnson, she worked as an office secretary for AT&T. Florence was talented both musically and artistically. She enjoyed playing classical piano, antique doll reproductions, sewing, cooking, and gardening. And she loved beauty and enjoyed sharing it with others. She was loving and very generous to her grandchildren. They felt loved by her all their life. Her grandson remembers the last thing she said to him was I love you Joel. Surviving are daughters Elise Rinker of Moscow, Christine Kasahara and her husband Mario of Hillsborough, NJ, and Melanie Diperna of Phillipsburg, NJ; a brother Hank Johnson of Ocean Grove, NJ; a sister Dorothy Bruglia of Honesdale; grandchildren Bethany Neri and Joel Rinker; several nieces and nephews. Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. |
