Frank J. Imperato, Jr. of Lake Ariel died Sunday at home. Born in Hackensack, NJ, son of the late Frank J. and Fay Massisca Imperato, Sr., he was a graduate of Lyndhurst High School Class of 1968 and he received a Bachelor of Art’s Degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He retired from Seven, Inc. as a graphic artist. Frank enjoyed photography, painting, and art. He loved spending time on the boat or dock on Lake Ariel with his life partner Robert Eltringham and family and friends. Also surviving are sisters Judy LaPenna and her husband Vito of North Creek, NY and Janet Imperato of Bloomfield, NJ; nieces Stephanie and Heather Imperato; nephews Daniel and Todd LaPenna; and great-nephew and niece Luke and Lucia LaPenna and sister-in-law Josephine Aiello. He was preceded in death by a brother William; his partner Robert Eltringham. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday October 25th at 10:00am in St. Thomas More Church 105 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel by Rev. Stephen J. Stavoy, Pastor. Cremation took place in the Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
