Amy E. Walker

Amy E. Walker, 54, of Hollisterville, died Monday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Patricia Emerick of Moscow, Karen Walker of Hollisterville, and the late David Walker. Prior to her illness, Amy was a Security Officer at the Clarks Summit State Hospital for 19 years.

She was an avid reader and gardener. She also enjoyed traveling and mowing lawn. Amy always looked forward to working with her dad on the family farm.

Also surviving are sisters Holly Pierce and her husband Del of Dunmore, Laura Szymanski and her husband Carl of Hollisterville, and Kendra Wayman of Hollisterville; a brother Paul Tonetti of Hollisterville; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother David Walker and sister Marla Tonetti.

The family would like to thank Dr. Keshav Bhandari for his compassionate care shown to Amy during her illness.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12:00pm in the James Wilson Funeral, 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel with Pastor Dean Zeiset, officiating.

Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of service.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Hollisterville Cemetery
