David A. Berger, Hamlin, went home to be with his Lord and Savior quietly at home on Wednesday afternoon. His wife of 49 years is the former Lorraine Jackson.

Born in 1953 in Scranton, he was the son of the late Ronald Berger, Sr and Annabelle Black Berger Comstock.  A man of many talents, David was self-employed in construction.  He deeply loved and cherished his family and his Savior.

Also surviving are his children Holly Laury; Mandy Sverduk; Suzanne DeLorenzo and her husband Jason; Allan Berger and his wife Amanda Kay; Grace Berger and her fiance Miguel Agudo; sons-in-law Bill Laury; Aaron Sverduk; Ben Sverduk; siblings Dee Brown and her husband Ronald; Ron Berger and his wife Shirley; Debbie Goodale and her husband Stephen; Wayne Berger and his wife Fluff; Arnie Berger and his wife Yvonne; multiple loved in-laws; his beloved grandchildren Amanda, Ethan, JP and Ruby Laury; Carainda and Boo Sverduk; Jason Jr, Kyle and Christine DeLorenzo; Crystal, David and Emily Berger; Roselie and Guelo Agudo Berger; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and countless brothers and sisters in Christ.
