Robert G. “Bob” Sauers, Jr. (67) of Madison Township passed away on February 8, Bob was an instructor for the NRA, a member of the “Spark” Ham Radio Club, and the
Moscow Sportsmen Club. During his life, Bob was employed by General Foods and the Quaker Oats company as
a salesman and in his retirement, worked part-time at Field and Stream as a way to stay connected to his love of outdoor sports. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Gayle Sauers of Madison Twp., also
surviving are a son, Robert G. “Rob” Sauers III and wife Sara of Chapman Lake, a daughter, Allison L. Lesak of Madison Township, Brothers Mark Sauers of Lake Ariel, Scott Sauers and wife Amy of Lake Ariel, an aunt, Audrey Jabjiniak, a grandson, Adam Lesak, and nephews, Will and Jeff. Funeral Services will be held at the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Road, Lake
Ariel, on Monday, February 13 at 4:00PM, the Rev. Dr. Jeffrey L. Rarich of Salem Community Church, officiating. Friends may call from 2:00PM until the start of the service. A private interment will take place at Maplewood Evangelical Cemetery.
