Paul J. Turouski, 66, of Lake Ariel, passed away Monday, December 12th at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton following an illness. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late John and Kathryn Enslin – Turouski. He was a graduate of Western Wayne High School. Prior to his retirement, Paul worked at Gentex Corporation in Simpson. Paul loved to hunt and fish. In the fall, he loved to cut boughs and white birch for nurseries to use during the holiday season. His other passion was his love for dogs, especially Daisy, his last Jack Russell. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Paul will be sadly missed by all. Surviving are his sister Peggy Field and her husband Walter of Maplewood; a brother Joseph Turouski of Waymart; several nieces, nephews, and one great nephew. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Getz and the staff at Geisinger Community Medical Center for their care and compassion shown to Paul. As per Paul’s wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of his family. Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
