Beatrice “Jean” Eibes Reese, Clifton Twp. June 22, 1935 – October 13, 2022
Beatrice “Jean” Eibes Reese was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother during her 87 years of life. She reunited with her adoring husband William on Thursday evening in her daughter’s home, surrounded by her loved ones. Jean will be remembered for her loving nature, kindness and her occasional, endearing stubbornness. She was the most wonderful woman, and the way she lived her life leaves a beautiful legacy for all to cherish. She doted on her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the lights of her world. Jean lived a full life and always had a smile on her face. She was the daughter of John and Mildred Minor Eibes. She was one of six children. She met the love of her life William while dancing, and they spent 63 years dancing through life together. She was a school bus driver for the North Pocono School District. Surviving are her daughters, Terri Chillot and husband Alan, Clifton Twp.; Kathy Witko and husband John, Avoca; son William R. Reese, Jr. and wife Vicki, Gouldsboro; grandchildren, Alan Chillot and wife Lindsay, Melissa Morgan and husband Sean, John Witko and wife Kayleigh; and Renee Witko; great grandchildren Gavin, Garrett and Gabriella Chillot; Paisley and Reese Morgan; and Jonathan and Kevin Morgan (Witko); sisters, Shirley Cavill, Gouldsboro; Helen Beavers, Clifton Twp, and Kate Ives, Madison Twp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Reese; brother Robert Eibes; and sister Hazel Klim. The family would like to thank Angelic Paths Hospice for their care, support, and compassion during this difficult time. And a special thank you to Dr. Michael Kondash who cared for her as though she was his own mother. Her presence will live on in our hearts. Her cremation took place at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
