It is with both heavy hearts and joyful memories that we announce the passing of William  Gilpin, lovingly known to many as Billy. Born on July 16, 1973, in Honesdale, PA, he was the son of the late Bradley and Donna Samson Gilpin.  Bill brought light, laughter, and a remarkable spirit to everyone he encountered. He passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 51,

As a self-employed contractor, Bill was a man of great skill and dedication, shaping not just structures but also the lives of those around him.

He was a proud father to his son, Mitchell Gilpin. He also leaves behind his beloved siblings, Jeffrey Gilpin, Nicole (Joseph) Klikus, Brittany Gilpin; stepbrother Scott Vannatta; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  Together, they share countless memories filled with laughter, love, and the occasional good-natured ribbing that Billy was known for.

Billy’s zest for life was infectious. Whether he was working on a project, spending time with family, or enjoying his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, he embraced each moment, leaving behind a legacy of joy and love.

In honor of Bill’s vibrant spirit, we invite family and friends to celebrate his life. A memorial gathering will be held on a date in the future.
