Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Virginia M. Kostige, 89 of Lakeville, passed away Thursday morning at home following an illness. Surviving is her husband of 69 years Harry Kostige. Born in Paupack, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Jackson and Jeanette Gifford – Gumble. She attended the Paupack School and was a graduate of Hawley High School. She was dedicated to her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her early years she also entertained people by yodeling and singing with local country bands at benefits and on the radio. Also surviving are daughters Jill Wargo of Lake Ariel and Tami Nelson and her husband Kenneth of Pulaski, NY; sisters Jean Hansen, Eleanor Hartzell, Sylvia Gregor, and Gail Kohut; grandchildren Demanie Hogan, Leonard Wargo, and Andrew Wargo; great grandchildren Dawson Wargo, Landon Wargo, Adysen Wargo, Kaitlin Wargo, Olivia Black, Rheagan Wargo, and Aerringtyn Wargo; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Clyde and Gifford Gumble. The family would like to thank Dr Mark Murnin and staff, Commonwealth Home Health Services and Allied Services Hospice Care.
