Valeria Ambrozevitch Ward, Sterling, passed away March 5, 2014 in the Regional Hospital of Scranton. She was the widow of Robert Ward.

Born in Dickson City, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Dominka Maslowski Borkowski. Valeria was a member of the St. Catherine of Sienna Parish, Moscow.

Surviving are daughters Carol Evans of Lake Ariel, Valerie Burke of  Scranton and Diane Pontosky of Sterling; sons Robert Ward of Dunmore, Edward Ambrozevitch of Maryland and Thomas Ambrozevitch of North Carolina; grandchildren Michael and Brian Evans, Justin, Corey and Shane Pontosky and David, Brad, Tom, and Nicole Ambrozevitch; great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass and interment were held at the convenience of the family.

There will be no public calling hours or service.
