Theresa Santucci, 76, Wallenpaupack Lake Estates, passed away Wednesday afternoon in the Wayne Memorial Hospital after an illness.  Theresa leaves behind her beloved husband of 57 years Peter Santucci.

Born August 12, 1948 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eva Miller DeLucia and was a graduate of the Long Island City High School.  Prior to her retirement she had been employed by the Quality Braid Company in Astoria, New York.

Theresa was devoted Catholic and animal lover. She always had a dog by her side. Theresa enjoyed feeding the wildlife. She was passionate about giving to her charity of choice, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Also surviving are her brothers Peter DeLucia of New Jersey and Vito DeLucia of New Mexico; several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by brothers Louis and Joseph DeLucia.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 20 th at 10am in St. Mary’s Church 334 St. Mary’s Church Rd. Ledgedale by Rev. Stephen Bosomafi, pastor.

Friends may call Monday, August 19 th from 4-7pm in the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.

Anyone planning on attending the Mass of Christian Burial is asked to go directly to the church.
