Theresa Marie Christiana of Lake Ariel died Saturday evening at Geisinger CMC following a short battle with Cancer. She was born on September 15, 1966 in Huntington NY. She is survived by her husband Clifford “Jim” Christiana of Lake Ariel.

She is the daughter of Frank & Francine Amendolare of Bullhead City, AZ. She is survived by her daughter Amanda Bowden & Fiancé Matthew D’Aversa of Florida. Daughter Santina Christiana, her sons James Bowden & Clifford “CJ” Christiana all of Lake Ariel &  a step-daughter Melanie Christiana of New York; a sister & her husband Jennifer & Matthew (Amendolare) Fisher of Tannersville, brothers Joseph Amendolare & wife Tamara of Washington and Frank Amendolare & wife Julia of Canadensis; several loving nieces and nephews.

Theresa came to Pennsylvania in 1980. After graduating High School she owned & operated Terri’s Family Haircutters in Mountain home, PA until she started to raise her family. Recently she & a friend owned & operated “Second Time Around” Thrift Shop in Waymart. She worked many years and was passionate about her second family at Two Guys Pizzeria and would make all of her customer’s day. There was nothing more important to her than making those around her happy. She was a hard worker and very dedicated to her family and her friends. She was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend to all. She was the one you could always count on when you were in need of a good laugh, advice or a shoulder to cry on. Everyone who knew her became her family. Her door was always open and she always cooked for an army. She always spoke her mind, but was genuine and kind. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all those who filled her life.

Friends may call Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel.

A Blessing Service will be held Friday at 11:00 am in the Funeral Home.
