I worked with Steve for many years, and it really saddens me to learn of his passing, especially since he did not get the years of retirement he and Lin so deserved together. Steve was a very good person, and the world is a little colder place now with his passing. Be at peace as God has surely welcomed you.

I worked with Steve at the FBI Academy and we had a great time. He would come by my office and just sit and talk and joke around. When my wife and I were married the photographer cancelled at the last minute. When Steve heard he came by and said he was going to be our photographer. The pictures were great and when I asked him how much I owed him, he said it was his wedding gift to us. I am so glad to have known him and could call him my friend.

On behalf of Dr. Ebi and I, we would like to send our prayers as Stephen was such an amazing patient of ours. We were so blessed to have him as one of our routine patients. From telling so many jokes, to scaring Dr.Ebi by hiding in the exam room. I, Julia, will never forget the times planning on how to scare Dr.Ebi and giving Stephen hints on where to hide, forever will cherish those moments. We will miss seeing his bright smile and silly personality. He was one patient that would always put a smile on our faces and make our days better with his crazy jokes. Sending our condolences to the whole family of Stephen Jarneki.

Steve was a great friend to our family. He was always full of joy and could cheer even the most somber of moods with his contagious laughter and wit. Steve showed an example of kindness to all and always took up for what was right. He was always willing to lend a hand to help others, and I will always remember Steve for his kindness and dedication as a friend. I can only hope to be the same type of friend to others as he was to our family. Our prayers go out to Lynn, his daughters, and grandchildren. May God comfort them as promised in his word. Steve- you will be greatly missed.
