Stanley T. Christopher of Honesdale, died Tuesday at home following an illness. His wife of 52 years is the former Patricia Racht.

Born in Hollisterville, son of the late Stanley and Stella Walako Christopher, he was a member of the congregation of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Honesdale. Prior to retirement who was employed by PPL as a linesman leader.

Stanley was a devoted family man. He loved gardening, watching NASCAR, making maple syrup, and otherwise working outside. He was also a student of the Bible.

Surviving are daughters Laura Thomas of Honesdale, and Amy Christopher and her companion Stephen Fritz of Honesdale; sons David Christopher and his wife Joann of Greentown, and Paul Christopher and his wife Donna of Honesdale; sisters Roseann Brink and her husband Mike of Lakeville and Marion Samson and her husband Jerry of Lake Ariel; brothers Edward Christopher and his fiancé Alice Martin of Honesdale, John Christopher and his wife Barbara of Ohio, and Robert Wargo and his wife Vicki of Lakewood; a daughter-in-law Diane Christopher and her fiance Bill Riefler both of Honesdale; grandchildren Kayla, Justyna, Jessica, Adam, Tommy, Natalie, Anthony, Michael, Nicholas, and Stephanie; a great-grandson Logan; many nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by sons Robert and Thomas Christopher.

A Memorial Talk will be held Saturday, December 24, 2016 at 11:00pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2756 Lake Ariel Hwy, Honesdale, Pa 18431. A luncheon will follow at the Gravity Inn, Waymart.

Private Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
