Sherry Ray De Souza, 57 of Plant City, FL, formally of Scranton, PA passed away on June 9, 2024 at Advent Hospital Tampa in Tampa, FL after a courageous battle with triple negative breast cancer.

Born in Monticello, NY, she is the daughter of Betty Louise Dunn – Kellogg of Lake Ariel and the late Raymond B. Kellogg. She was a graduate of Western Wayne High School. Prior to her illness, she was a wire funds transfers investigator for Bank of America.

Sherry loved being involved with her children’s activities while they were growing up. She was always present for everything in their lives. She loved spending time with friends and family. Her joy was to unite people and have fun- themed gatherings. She enjoyed bowling, arts and crafts, planning parties and watching crime-scene investigation shows. She was known to be the best hostess, bring people together and loved to celebrate life.

Also surviving are her daughter Aarika Ray De Souza of Boston, MA; son Lucas Raymond Koch, both formerly of Scranton, PA; sisters Donna and Sharon Edwards; brothers Glen Raymond Kellogg and Steven Edwards.

She was preceded in death by her brother Raymond W. Kellogg.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 20th at 10:00am in the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Road. Lake Ariel.

Friends may call on Wednesday, June 19th from 5:00pm – 7:00pm in the funeral home.

Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst Twp.
