Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Ronald “Pop” Butler, Moscow, got his wings and met up with his love on July 8, 2024, one year after her death. His loving wife of 43 years, Carolyn “Granny” Hibbs – Butler passed away on July 8, 2023. Born in Lake Ariel, he was the son of the late Ernest and Ethel Gilpin – Butler. He was educated in the Honesdale schools. Prior to retirement, he was a truck driver. He was a United States Navy Veteran. Surviving are his step – children Gregory Kovaleski and his wife Brenda, Scott Kovaleski and his wife Renee Pierre, Donna Diaz and her husband Luis all of Lake Ariel; a daughter-in-law Tisha Kovaleski; grandchildren, great grandchildren; sisters Linda Cilli and Tonya Mochin. He was preceded in death by his stepson Michael Kovaleski. Services and interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
